OUR CLUB
America's Berger Blanc Suisse Club is comprised of FCI pedigreed Berger Blanc Suisse / White Swiss Shepherd Dogs (BBS/WSSD) and their owners. Our members' BBS/WSSDs consist of both show/breeding quality dogs, family dogs not intended for breeding and BBS/WSSD enthusiasts. All members are committed to maintaining the breed as the recognized BBS/WSSD and abiding by the Rules and Regulations of the FCI. All ABBSC registered dogs meet the requirements to be registered by the FCI Dog Club.
OUR GOAL
The goal of ABBSC is to preserve and protect the integrity of the Berger Blanc Suisse / White Swiss Shepherd Dog in North America and around the world. Throughout most of the world, the Berger Blanc Suisse/White Swiss Shepherd is a popular and recognized breed. One hundred four countries around the world recognize the BBS/WSSD. However, the breed is still waiting to be recognized here in the United States, as well as in Canada.
ABBSC is growing a breed registry within the United States to keep the breed standard of the FCI.
